SUMMARY:D&CVD - Diabetes & Cardiovascular Disease
DESCRIPTION: \nProf. Paul Valensi\nPresident Local Organizing Committee \nProf. Antonio Ceriello\nPresident D&CVD EASD Study Group \n– \nThe D&CVD EASD Study Group meets on an annual basis for a scientific and business meeting. The time and place of the meetings will be decided by the Executive Committee. The meeting will be announced in Diabetologia. Abstracts selected for oral presentation and abstract discussion will be published in a booklet. Abstracts not selected for presentation during the meeting may also be included in the booklet. \nIn addition to the annual meeting Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease EASD Study Group may promote seminars\, workshops or other meetings preferably together with the other EASD working groups. If such meeting is to be held in the name of Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease EASD Study Group it needs approval by the Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease EASD Study Group Executive Committee. \nThe group will submit annually to the EASD a written summary of the activities for publication in Diabetologia. A member of Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease EASD Study Group Executive Committee must attend the annual EASD General Assembly. \nThe financial support for the annual meeting will be sought from pharmaceutical companies; if financial problems arise the organisers will be allowed to take registration fee from all participants. The financial support should be used for accommodation and meals during the annual meeting etc. The travel expenses should be covered by the members. However\, the Members of the Executive Committee may give travel grants to selected members of the group who present an abstract during the meeting and who need financial support. \nThe scientific program will cover both basic and clinical science in the field of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases. \nVous pouvez consulter le programme à l’adresse suivante : www.dcvd2016.com/scientific-programme \n
